We exist to be people who help people find and follow Jesus, and in Mark 10:45, Jesus says, "...even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve...", and we take this to heart in many ways--by partnering with local organizations in serving people in need in our community, by supporting missionaries in their work domestically and globally, by sending teams to serve "the least of these" in impoverished parts of the world, and by serving one another and meeting needs within our church family.

Serve Our Community

If you are ready to reach out and serve with us locally, many opportunities are available to you. Click on the links below to learn more about each of our community partnerships and the various ways you can help serve them.

  • Family Promise

Whether you love to provide food, buy gift cards, or write encouraging cards to the families and staff, your help will bless someone! Click HERE to sign up. We periodically also have the opportunity to serve families overnight, and if that sounds like it's up your alley, go to THIS LINK to take some quick training! Thank you for caring for our community!

  • Just food

Did you know Just Food is more than just a food pantry? Find out more by clicking HERE. Our main means of partnering with Just Food is our food collection barrel just inside the main doors. It's always there, so when you're at the grocery store, would you consider grabbing a few non-perishable items to donate?

  • L. I. n. k.

We have the opportunity to bless those who are housing and food insecure with a hot meal through the Lawrence Interdenominational Nutrition Kitchen (LINK) on Tuesday, September 26th, at 1:00 PM. Just head to THIS LINK to sign up to bring a plate of food to the church, or contact Kelly Chase if you would like to volunteer to help serve the meal.
